Background: Tatsuya was born in the middle of a stormy night to his mother, Aki, who had refused to go to the hospital and instead talked a neighbor through the experience (she used to be a nurse). His father was away on business. Aki named Tatsuya after his grandfather. Shortly after his birth, Aki came down with an infection, and a few weeks later, died. Tatsu's father, Takeshi, never adjusted to the idea of having a son without a mother.
Tatsu became a bit of a bully. His father raised him sharply and without any tender emotions. Tatsu often took out his frustrations on other children in his neighborhood, most notably when he told his neighbor (a six year old girl) that her father had died in a car crash because he didn't want to see her anymore. Tatsu was ten at the time. He also was known for taking captive and killing squirrels, chipmunks, and other small animals. Although highly intelligent, ge did not do well in school due to his poor attitude.
When he was seventeen Tatsu was placed in a mental ward in Hartford, CT, where he made little to no progress. In the last month he was there, he developed a very controling relationship with a girl who suffered from anxiety. Tatsu was removed from the ward shortly after he talked the girl into killing herself. Tatsu was brought to Cherry Hollow where patients are better watched over.
Personality: Tatsu is very charismatic. He can be seductive, and charming, and any number of worship-worthy things. He is a total menace, but for some reason is popular with the patients on the floor. Everyone wants to be his friend... but he only wants to use them. Tatsu often lies for personal gain. He is good at manipulating people into what he wants them to do. He is irresponsable, irratble, and only concerned about his own entertainment. He never regrets the things he does, even if someone else gets hurt in the process.
